June 2012 Election, California, Proposition 28
Vote Recommendation: No
I'm not sure how I feel about term limits in general, so this would already invoke my "when in doubt, vote no" rule. However, on top of that the attempts to pass this proposition seem to be distinctly underhanded. The overall effect of the proposition is the opposite of the one suggested by the title, and it is clear that proponents aren't trying to support term limits, as is suggested, but to weaken them. (Once again, I'm lukewarm on term limits, but the dishonesty wins my disapproval.)
