Ana Valencia is an incumbent seeking to retain her seat as a Governing Board Member, Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District in November 2013.
Endorsed by Congresswoman Linda T. Sanchez, Norwalk City Council members, Luigi Vernola, Marcel Rodarte, Michael Mendez, Leonard Shryock, and fellow board members, Ed Hengler, Darryl Rodney Adams, Margarita L. Rios, Karen Morrison, and Jesus G. Urquidi. [1][2]
Ran for State Assembly in the 57th district in 2012[3] but pulled out, giving her endorsement to candidate Rudy Bermudez. She indicated an intention to run in the next election cycle. [4]
