Deidre M. Henderson is a small business owner, and Utah state senator in the 7th District, running as a Republican candidate for the 3rd Congressional District seat in the November 2017 Election, Utah.

She expresses the need to bring power back to the states.

In 2017 she sponsored S.B. 250, which largely simplified/standardized food truck licensing in the state.[1] She was the floor sponsor for H.B. 265, which eliminated the vehicle safety inspection requirement for vehicle registration, increased the registration fee, and set aside funds for vehicle safety impact study and highway patrol personnel.[2]

In 2016 she sponsored S.B. 108 which broke up an effective industry blockade of birthing centers being perpetrated by the licensing board (the Department of Health and the Health Facility Committee) by ending.[3][4]

In 2015 she sponsored H.B. 154 which created a jury duty exemption for breastfeeding mothers.[5]
