Elizabeth Emken is a businesswoman and a Republican running for United States Senator in the June 2012 Election, California.
She is endorsed by the California Republican Party.
She has maintains conservative positions, but is considered suspect by many conservatives due to her background as a lobbyist for her special interest. Her main motivation appears to be to elevate awareness of, and secure resources for, those who might be diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.[1]
