Jason Chaffetz is the Republican Party nominee and incumbent running for U.S. Representative for Utah, District 3 in the November 2016 Election, Utah.
Jason is a fairly frustrating figure. He seems significantly sharper than your average representative, but at the same time he falls notably short of someone like Mike Lee. The frustration is probably more notable since he is such a prominent representative, being chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, an office which he seems to execute well.
In April 2017, Jason Chaffetz announced that he would not be running for re-election as a U.S. Representative for Utah in the upcoming 2018 election.[1]
