Mike Hardy is a Payson City Councilman and the Assistant Manager of Payson Central Bank. He is running for Mayor of Payson in the November 2017 Election, Payson, Utah County, Utah.

Mike Hardy responded to a letter written to him during the November 2017 Election, Payson, Utah County, Utah. He describes being dissatisfied with the way the city is managing finances, particularly, he mentioned the need to address the city's debt. He also desires more participation from residents. While his experience probably gives him a good grasp of the way the city functions, he does not really give the overall impression that he he broken out of the big brother mindset of government. Still his willingness to be open about his mindset overall is a big positive.
