Luigi Vernola
Former Norwalk city council member expected to be running for a council seat in March 2011.[1] Luigi is president and founder of the President of the Friends of the Norwalk Sheriff ’s Station Foundation.[2][3]
He is also the owner of Vernola Tow Service, which has a D rating with the Better Business Bureau.[4][5] His business has an exclusive contract with the Sheriff's department.
In 2001, he contributed $500 to Napolitano for Congress.[6] (Grace Napolitano is a former Norwalk city council member and a Democrat. She also has cultural appeal for the Hispanic community.)
His endorsements for is 2011 Campaign are overwhelmingly liberal. [7]
During 9-Feb-2011 debate[8], Vernola indicated a need to eliminate unnecessary fees, streamline the permit process, create jobs, and not raise taxes.
