He describes being dissatisfied with the way the city is managing finances, particularly, he mentioned the need to address the city's debt. He also desires more participation from residents. While his experience probably gives him a good grasp of the way the city functions, he does not really give the overall impression that he he broken out of the big brother mindset of government. Still his willingness to be open about his mindset overall is a big positive.
