A former planning commissioner expected to be running for a Norwalk city council seat in March 2011.[1] He is a quality assurance specialist for the Department of Defense.[2]

Marcel Rodarte grew up in Norwalk, California. Runs the non-profit, Youth Empowerment Skills, Inc..[3]

During 9-Feb-2011 debate[4], Rodarte indicated a need to inform residents of the benefits of shopping locally, cut perks, and increase city efficiency.

Rodarte has endorsed Don Knabe for his reelection bid for his seat on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in 2012.[5]
