Michael Mendez is an incumbent running for a Norwalk city council seat in March 2013.[1]
Among the campaign donations he has received is a non-monetary donation of signs, t-shirts, and banners, worth an estimated $2,300, made by sitting Council Member Luigi Vernola.[2]
"The police can't be there all the time. There's not enough man power for the police to be with you all day... Realignment is creating issues for us so we need to do more work with the churches, but we will continue to do the best we can."[3]
Accused of sexual harrassment in 2008.[4]
