Here's a letter I wrote to candidates for Governing Board Member in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District during the November 2011 election in Los Angeles County, California.

Letter

I'm a Norwalk resident looking to get more insight into the candidates that I will need to choose between in the upcoming election this November, so I'm emailing all of the candidates three questions to help me learn more about them.

What inspires you to seek a seat on the Governing Board for the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District?

How do you feel about the California High School Exit Examination, and why?

What do you think about the practice of home schooling?
