This election is scheduled for the 8th of November 2011.[1]

Candidates

Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District

Governing Board Member

Up to 3 can be voted for.

Diane Marie Gramajo
Karen Morrison
Chris Pflanzer
Jesus G. Urquidi

I wrote a letter to all of the candidates and have received 1 response from Jesus G. Urquidi. This is hardly surprising however, as the race is really not very competitive. It is fairly clear that Morrison, Pflanzer, and Urquidi will win simply because Gramajo doesn't appear to be trying very hard. (Didn't notice any signs or any other kind of materials until the week before election, and she has been generally very hard to get information on.) So, we aren't really getting much opportunity to find out about these people beyond the basic campaign style.
